Event: Ukraine Emergency
The people of Ukraine have endured a year living in fear of air strikes and missiles. Now, 12 months after the war began on 24 February 2022, winter is here and families desperately need your support. Please give now to help save lives.

Story

Military action in 2022 is forcing thousands of people in Ukraine to flee internally, whilst refugees from Ukraine are fleeing to neighbouring countries. They join almost three million people already in need of humanitarian assistance across the country following years of conflict, including 850,000 internally displaced people.

St Chris has received numerous responses to our email earlier this week regarding the current crisis. Parents and pupils have expressed interest in supporting the humanitarian effort. So many displaced families are struggling as they seek safety and are forced to leave behind even the most basic of supplies as they seek refuge elsewhere.

With that in mind, the Senior School has set up this page to help support this current crisis with donations going directly to the UNHCR, which specifically supports victims of the refugee crisis in the area.

Jenny Savage will be coordinating with staff and pupils to organise further specific events to contribute to the fundraising page.

Thank you for your support.
